As I have said before the ATO doesnt charge penalties for honest mistakes. Does anyone remember who audited the accounts? I would like to hear their opinion on why this has happened. I recall early on in the piece Sage saying they had good legal advice that what they did was legit...where did that legal advice come from..and why isnt CFE suing their backsides off? The reputation of that legal firm would be shot if they gave advice to a company that cost them millions in penalties...which suggests to me that this disaster is all of CFEs own making.
