Isn't this great news? ANZ is providing all the necessary forebearance to get the deal over the line. I suspect that some key IFL people may need to be gone to get the key custodial consents. Maybe they will resign if they are confident that will get the deal over the line (otherwise they may feel it is a pointless gesture???).
Not really a massive surprise - it does look like APRA and the other parties see the acquisition as a good arrangement as long as the key people meet their requirements. Today's ann might be further confirmation.
