KCN, I would'nt think have refining capabilities at their production plant, as the refining process separates the gold, silver etc to a high degree of purity. All goldmines, I've been involved in, have the capability of smelting the gold bearing sludge (removed from the electrowinning cell cathodes) in a furnace & poured into gold bars, the gold bars though are not pure gold. While I'm at it, if the furnace on site is u/s, I dont believe it would be a massive capex or replacement outlay in the scheme of things.
