A few things stand out for me:
the independent board directors are getting best part of $150k each if the deal goes through. So how does that make them independent by "unanimously recommending" it?
It's amazing how all these risks are now public, whereas previously they were never mentioned (apart from KPH construction risk).
the KPH contractor has put in claims for over $200m ! Presumably because they did their shirt on a fixed cost project (albeit GNX saying real claim will be within contingency allowance).
With all the (now) transparency on previously confidential details (eg QLD Gov paying floor of $88/MWH for KS1), bring on competitive bidderS !!
