Many day traders buy pre drilling and then sell when the results come out which is exactly what happened when the last set of drilling results came out.
I took my profits today and will buy back when the dump is in full swing and stop losses kick in.
If the SP goes up I can always buy back in as history tells me that this strategy makes far more money over the long period.

If your pants are down when a TO comes knocking you'll be sitting on a profit yes - but not as much of a profit as those who sell into the big story rather than ride the drill results alone...
