Just been reading up a bit more about SVM and acquisitions .... geez, they really like to play lowball.
This is from their attempt to acquire Guyana Goldfields back when their SP was tanking in June 2020, eventually lost to Zijin:
Their initial offer CAD$0.60 per share was actually very close to the all-time low.
