I think it is more like a 1 billion contract between AU and CSL that will no longer be going ahead? The investment (in the millions) was at UQ.
But CSL is a 130 billion company and can easily focus on something else, so no big deal for them.
I think it is more a potential PR loss, it would have looked good for CSL to be have been pumping out an Aussie vaccine to save Aussies. As it is they will still be pumping out vaccines to save Aussies, just foreign developed ones, right?
