Of course NFI! This stock has had such a great run since decades, but has been a bummer over the past 12 months. @eric341 is very smart to have shorted this stock which is super sensitive to the appreciating AUD. Best is to limit my losses, get out of CSL for 6m and then come back when CSL has settled to a lower price.
And CSL says in its announcement that this is a price sensitive announcement and yet says the projected earnings for the year will remain unchanged. That means the profits would otherwise have been really good had it not been for this fiasco (despite the phenomenal UQ scientists behind this attempt, my respects).
