I am fully aware I might "chase" something that is absolutely not worth chasing but since I did not like the way things were explained I had to look into this again.
It simply is unfair that BIG states " -4.2 is actually positive 4.2 and it is only because of our accounting practices it turns out we have a loss for 17".
Another HC user then explained this by BIG implicit saying the liability of the 9 million would be 1 million (I am sorry I can not remember who and give credit).
My findings are that the spread is a lot more than a million.
On the positive side then BIG seems to have taken a lot of costs on the US business in FY17 without deferred revenues ---and this is where I am now beginning to think that it might offset my other concerns.
BUT - BIG delivered an announcement that as a minimum was not explaining things well enough and that will continue to be a concern for me until rectified.
