As institutional investors, the disclosure/legislation requirements surrounding the issue of shares to a Hong Kong hedge fund are minimal.
When this is combined with the fact that DML desperately needs cash, I tend to think that they have already lined up support in one form or another and so don't need the backup of the HK investors.
