Remember DML said they were talking to "a number" of parties - if the June deadline is a problem then I am sure a "similar" company (that perhaps has PRC backing), will make an offer.
If I wanted to buy DML and had "influence" over a few companies, I would instruct one to make a very low offer and then come in at a slightly higher offer to make it all look more attractive.

I still think (as previously posted) that DML has worked out something with the banks. Just think of it from the banks point of view, they have taken all the risk so far and now ,just when DML becomes cash-flow positive, they get paid back - they won't like that one !!
