Not to defend a company I have no interest in or even use, Apples is the largest or second largest (by MC) company in the world. They have in excess of 240 billion dollars cash in foreign reserves plus their US reserves.
They didn't get that way by happenstance and they don't employ incompetent people.
Our little company isn't even a blip on their radar and matters not at all to them. They spend more a month of free snacks at their corporate campus than our MC. We either do it their way or it's the highway.
