The offer significantly undervalues the company and is a rip-off for shareholders. The fact that D&D were initially willing to offer $5.50 per share and then drop it to $4.81 per share speaks volumes of their attitude and disrespect for shareholders. Now this offer of $3.81 with another $1.00 been conditional again leaves all the risk on shareholders.
All of the above might sound reasonable if LNK was a struggling business but fact is in the right hands they have solid businesses and in Pexa the crown jewel - its a near monopolistic company in Australia (i dont know about their status in other countries).
Its was unusual when the first offer was entertained, it was a travesty by the board for the second offer to be accepted and it would have been downright corrupt for the latest offer to be recommended (the board has rightly rejected but i won't be happy till D&D walk away completely).
In the hands of even half good management this price can rise significantly higher.
