Had not overly pondered this, but... with the merger closing, and RMS basically... wiping the slate clean with their holding in SPR, the actual amount of new RMS shares sits at 752m. Why is this relevant, I had mistakenly had in the back of my mind, that SPR would tip in about $250m, to RMS, but then... the full amount would go back out the door via the $0.25 payment, but of course, RMS is not going to pay themselves. Suffice to say, that the amount to be paid out this week will sit at $188m, leaving around $67m to bolster RMS cash position. So... my basic math without pouring through the quarterly yet (I will...) gives RMS a total float of 1.908b shares. Cash as of today, is like to sit around $809+$67 = $876m (growing every day I believe , so if get a little optimistic, RMS is likely adding $2-3m per day with Cue and Penny producing sweetly. Could be another $75m already. So.... to round it off.. I think RMS have approx $950m right now, though.... probably a few bills to pay for all the paperwork, but I will worry about that in the Sept Q report.
Merged entity E/V looks to sit around $4.16 billion. Not bad for... one of the lowest cost producers on the ASX (I note RMS beat CMM this quarter, not by much... but a win is a win!).
