This announcement is about reassurance.
Unless they announce Chinese government grants, cash upfront contracts, large orders, leasing of additional manufacturing capacity then we can assume that they have not been invited into solution. The government is throwing billions of dollars at the problem. .
On the positive side, western governments may evaluate the company products as part of epidemic preparations.
I am not a holder so you can assume that I am downramping and otherwise being a d#ck. I follow this stock due to the Australian drought and potential domestic saled. I am not so interested in their overseas ventures.
