UPDATE REGARDING DISCUSSIONS WITH GLENCORE REGARDING CSA COPPER MINE
IGO Limited (ASX:IGO) (IGO or the Company) wishes to provide an update on the status of discussions with Glencore regarding a potential acquisition of the CSA Copper Mine (CSA), as confirmed to the ASX on 21 February 2022.
IGO advises that discussions with Glencore have now concluded with no commercial agreement being reached.
As such, IGO and Glencore have discontinued negotiations with respect to a potential acquisition of CSA.
IGO regularly evaluates opportunities to grow its business via disciplined mergers and acquisitions in line with its clean energy metals strategy.
The Company will only complete transactions which it believes will deliver strong and accretive returns and are in the best interest of shareholders at the time.
