They're not interested in making a quick buck. That would be a very poor consolation prize.
They're interested in the physical copper and gold as a matter of national directive.
The BHP and NCM influence on the company needs to be diminished in order for them to make another move.
What I am concerned about is whether they have any misgivings about block caving since I don't know if they have that expertise.
And whether they're merely interested in a 50:50 JV, which they seem increasingly to prefer compared to outright ownership.
That would not necessarily be a bad thing for Solgold, would not be so great for us DGR shareholders.
Anyway all eyes on tomorrow's AGM.
