When the governments no longer have the revenue from fuel taxes what taxes will be attributed to electric cars to pay for transportation infrastructure?

I'm fascinated the way these threads go from profit to saving the planet with an example of hard rock mining verses brines. With many arguing hard rock mining is more profitable than brines based on the declining potash price which could well be true but it only takes a moment to work out which one producing more carbon emissions for the final carbonate product even without taking into account one produces a by product that then in turn produces higher yield crops further reducing green house emissions.

I wonder how many here trying hard to give the impression that this company will assist in saving the world dont already use the tools available such as fuels with ethanol additives or public transport and researched the CO2 emissions to produce off the grid system with the costs and payback period verses supplying electricity back to the grid which already reduces fossil fuel usage.

The above has nothing to do with the profitability of this company of course and wish everyone returns on their investment. P.S...I dispose of my recyclables in the correct bins but my toy is a 34 year old restored V8 Holden ute that is loud, thirsty and drips oil from the rear main but hey its fun.
