"Dear services and providersThe department advises that in November 2024, a Standing Order 52 was passed that required the NSW Regulatory Authority to produce a large number of documents in line with the order terms of reference.A Standing Order 52, when agreed, is when a member of the Legislative Council requests papers from government agencies and departments. Any member can request papers. The return of papers may contain privileged and public documents. Privileged documents are available only to members of the Legislative Council.The department has lodged two tranches of documents with the Parliament in December 2024 and a third tranche of documents, which will be publicly released on 19 March 2025.The department will continue to produce these documents on a regular basis, which will include weekly tranches.For the tranches already lodged with the Parliament, the department had identified a large number of documents as privileged as they contain individual company and employee details. However, this was disputed and the Parliament appointed an Independent Arbiter to consider the privilege dispute.The Independent Arbiter has made an interim decision, indicating that he does not consider there are grounds for the department to claim privilege over the majority of information in the documents, but does consider that privilege can be claimed in relation to the names of children.This decision means that documents (including regulatory notices) concerning incidents, breaches, investigations and compliance actions will be available to the public, including journalists, in their entirety. Service and provider names and addresses will be visible, as well as the names of educators and other employees.The department is unable to provide further information on these documents – they will be available through Parliament."

All the large provider's (MFD, GEM, NDO, EVO etc.) dirty laundry is about to be aired. Some of the things that are about to come out are going to shock the public. These documents are going to directly name the company and educators involved in all incidents, as well as showing how much tax payer money they are receiving in funding and grants whilst providing in general, poor quality service and treating employees horrifically.
