Ah ha...

I now more strongly suspect (amongst the various possible permutations) this was all a rather elaborate scheme to let a big player buy up a crap load of Osteopore for very little (way more than the 15% a strategic placement would have allowed) via this scheme's shortfall and the ASX have stepped in accordingly and placed a limit therein.

This has truly been a debacle. But if you have an inkling of what is going on (and most of the commentators on other threads are just internet trolls getting their jollies off) there is potentially still a lot of value in this company's technology. Just appallingly and perhaps now dishonestly managed.
