This is how I interpreted the TGA announcement. RHY are listening to the TGA feedback and taking advantage of an expedited "withdraw and resubmit" process in favour of their own hubris and thinking they can somehow force this through the TGA process.
Is it a shame they didn't procure more test kits? Yes.
Can they control the production and supply of those test kits? Yes and No. And the "No." here is not worth gambling on at risk of being blacklisted to the entire Australian market.
I dare say they are also probably ordering excess test batches in case another set of analyses are needed by either the TGA or a prospective customer.
Its a fairly simple process from here.
1. Produce more test kit batches2. Receive test kits3. Complete analysis on test kit batches4. Finalise reports needed to address TGA approval.
5. Double check everything6. Resubmit to TGA for review.
Timeline on that depends on batch production, supply chain and how long RHY want to spend on the analysis and reports to make sure it's all accurate and sufficient.
