I think there are ways around the storage issues, however they add to cost. If you can manufacture to order and ship quickly and directly to you customers you should have an advantage, and should in the long run charge more for your product.
A few orders would be good to test out the theory. It would be nice to hear of a backlog of orders requiring a second line to be built.
