Not sure if I am one of the "some have their concerns on the acquisition" you allude to in your post. But if so I think my original comment around "I am not sure what we are getting with the acquisition" stands. That said, I will happily accept, based on this announcement, that the acquisition will be "materially earnings appreciative" and look forward to the investor presentation that will be provided on completion of the acquisition.

I aren't too concerned by the amount of time this acquistion is taking to complete, acquisitions always take longer than expected. The real trick is to ensure that the acquired firm becomes part of the acquiring firm (systems, culture etc) rather than the other way around..... This is post acquisition rather than pre is when all the work starts to ensure that the expected outcomes are acheived.

Also, I am very encouraged by the recruiting that they are undertaking in multiple locations and talking to other law firms about acquisition. Will be very interesting to see the next set of figures.
