I freely admit to being a buy and hold investor in small stocks.

Given the time, money, computing power and maths skills available to the large players in the market I have never understood how technical analysis could hep me beat the large players. Always happy to learn something new though.

Equally, large shares are followed by numerous analysts who have the benefit of company briefings and other information not generally available to small investors. I see limited opportunities to do better than average here.

That leaves small listed companies that are not (yet) followed by analysts. Some research and due diligence and I may be able to beat the market.
