Yes, there was to be a big placement in June, this year, to raise the needed $245 million, to finish the WBC purchase..
It has been very quiet on that further diluting arrangement.
The CEO stated himself that they did not get good value, in the WBC Pacific purchase due to bidding competition, from French Pacific Banks, but rather they got good terms. [ie the staggering of the purchase amount, over time]
If this falls through, via the PNG regulators, and KSL ends up with the FIJI assets alone,[Is that possible in the deal?] then shareholders might do better.
