    I know we are not supposed to talk about the US anymore - and I promise this will be the last time for me anyway.

    It does appear that the Tariff issue has backfired on the US. They just had the largest trade deficit in December for over 3 years.

    US imports surged in December as companies imported goods before the tariffs were introduced. This is exactly what tariffs were supposed to avoid.
