I think I could find more copper in my house.
Honestly these results are practically background copper.
They mention porphyritic intrusion – this is correlated with high-grade copper deposit so some potential but until the grades improve this is pretty mediocre.
As a comparison
- AIS min grade is 1%, mostly around 1.4%-1.9%
- SFR min grade is 1%, production at 1.5%, next CY guidance is 1.7%
- CVV (Caravel) is 0.24% with 1% cut off – low cost low grade mine like CBY (Briggs) but much more advanced, not the best economics.
- Briggs deposit is 0.2%-0.35%
I don’t think deposit is economical at the moment?
Also this is a downgrade compared to the previous maps they have put out.
