Interesting timing- presumably to head off at the pass any tricky questions at this morning’s AGM but I’m not cracking open the champagne just yet as we’ve been here before many times. The critical question is whether BSI- COC accepted this analysis. Did OSL receive the promised assessment following their meeting in London almost 4 weeks ago? Anybody can produce good looking p values in these types of comparisons if you know how to stack the deck in your favour....what we need to know is exactly what types of comparative studies and treatments were actually included in this so-called naive indirect analysis because if the COC conclude the comparators aren’t appropriate (eg because of major bias - say being selective and deliberately including studies with known inferior chemo therapies to compare with panco) then this could unravel quickly.
IF BSI has confirmed acceptability of the analysis then yes there’s reason for optimism.
