I like the French wine analogy in the presentation!

So, it really doesn’t matter whether it’s Italian, Spanish, Chilean or a wine from an unknown province like the Koopamurra, it’s more important that commerce can trust that the quality of supply will be consistently there.

Global trade networks are only healthy when we have access to many alternatives. In the rare earth context, China and its agent provocateurs, namely Myanmar, dominate heavy rare earth concentrates and this can't continue, especially, when in 2010 Beijing showed it’s intentions by denying Japan rare earth metals. Today, the status quo has become even more untenable. This is highlighted in the graph below at to how steeply the supply of Rare Earth Oxides (REO) will drop off as China takes control of the end uses as well (intermediate products, components and OEM's), i.e. it will sell OECD countries the bottled wine and less of the grapes.

Fortunately, it’s nice to know that there is an Aussie drop quietly building a rare earths mineral ‘Province’ of global and multi-generational significance.

The Koppamurra tasting notes might come to read something like – a shallow, free-digging, low-CAPEX operation with no radioactive impurities.
