Price drop is indicative of major shorting interest on the back of rains similar to last year which were problematic to harvest. You can be sure that at some point this rout will attract the buying interest of multinational interests such as Olam which already has swallowed Timberland's 8000ha estate. As the world's largest oil palm producer, SHV is a starter for breakfast. In the meatntime the shorters are in control. Charts for ideas on support.
