rough numbers I have c52k for spot price used... not sure how to derive it from "fast markets"... any guidance would be appreciated . wouldn't take my comments/calc with any credibility though...used LOM 20 years @ 8.8k tonnage per year.
spot prices trading at double 107k aud. so if project goes ahead then notable upside.
on the contrary, 6% seems aggressive, @8% I have c1.5pm AUD and 10% it halves the AUD NPV to 1bn that I've calculated... pretax as well, so biggest hurdle will be funding, I have no experience in capital markets but a WACC of 6% in current conditions would seem next to no chance.
anyway just thinking out loud!
