I'm not going to pretend that I understand what drives the gold market. I realise that there are multiple factors in play, many of which we have heard of. However, I can't help but wonder if there is more to the story? Has something broken that we don't yet know about? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I've been following gold for nearly 15 years and I've not seen anything like this before. I keep expecting gold to pull back as it has in the past, but at the moment it seems that demand is too strong. It really does feel different this time, at least in the time frame of my own experience.
