If you think this is hype you clearly did not live through the lithium boom in 2022 and 2023 - that was hype on steroids compared to SPR - this stock does not have that many posters on HC compared to the lithium stocks in the boom and most had nil chance of discovering any lithium.
Gold stocks are still being given the cold shoulder by the market in general (this has been recognised by many expert commentators who believe there is a big disconnect between ATH POG and the poor valuations of gold stocks). If this was a year ago and it was a lithium stock the SP would be 3 times the current level.
If you want to see hype in a gold stock go and have a look at SXG - the assays appear to be speculator on the surface but the reality is that the gold is going to be very difficult and expensive to mine as it is very nuggetty and very deep - it may never be mined (that is not my opinion but the opinion of experts). Its SP has gone up by a factor of 4 in 6 months, it has no plant, it has no MRE. At the presentation last Thursday I sat next to 2 people (one being Kerry Stevenson) and I asked both if SPR was being hyped and they stated no but that SXG was clearly being hyped (I agree with their views)
