We have seen that this government is willing to step into the market and shore up coal fired plants when they are under threat of closure. How well placed is AGL to get some of that sweet government support in the next election cycle?
With the concerns over electricity/energy costs hitting the news headlines regularly, AGL looks like it would be in a good position to get some support over the next 3yrs, as politically it makes sense.
