What is wrong with coal? It provides over 80% of electrons on grid despite efforts to eradicate it with intermittent sources claiming to be the cheapest form of new energy... As a islanded stand alone asset perhaps, but when transmission, FCAS and storage needed to make them reliable is taken into account...
