The 1972 "epoch" is from the graphs they produce each and every time. IPCC, CSIRO, etc. All of their graphs all start from 1972! Why? Its was the end of the last cooling period and therefor any warming is greatly exaggerated as it begins from a low.

The ice cores? Vostok? Have you compared them to Milankovitch Cycles superimposed together? No? Surely something like that would prove its not AGW based.
