Good thing you're not running the exploration side of things then if you consider it a "whack a mole game". There's significantly more science involved in exploration than "educated guessing" and luck. And what happens if there's something significantly higher in grade along this 26km stretch that greatly improves the economics of Gonneville pre-mining? Systematic exploration made the discovery and the same will find the next one. And when they want to do that in a shorter time-frame, it's going to cost more money.
