In my opinion, the USD will not get stronger. We are in unchartered waters.
I actually believe contrary to historical performance we will see fall in commodity prices for a while but the AUD will not fall against the USD. It will actually rise which makes it worse for Australian resource companies. I can't see how it will with the possible China currency being added to the basket of world currencies.
I do agree though that commodities are gone for now, we are seeing bear market rallies.
More war, terrorism etc bodes well for oil and gold. It all takes time.
Just my opinion.
Of course I could be wrong!
