    This is very very interesting.

A reputable company drills a 300m target and keeps drilling till they run out of rods and decide to keep the hole live in case they want to drill further. They don't tell us what they have intersected but say that further assessment of the target will be aided by ground mag, EM and IP.

One can only conclude that they have hit something interesting, but perhaps surprising since they do not want to even talk about until they get assays. Id call that a better than even odds chance of them having drilled something positive.

Given their emphasis of mag I don't suspect we are talking about classic hematite hosted IOCG mineralsation. What they have seen is either associated with magnetite or pyrrhotite. But if that is the case why not just come out and say we have intersected Cu mineralisation associated with magnetite or ISCG mineralisation associated with pyrrhotite.

My wild speculation at the moment is that they have intersected a mafic or UltraMafic intrusive rocks with disseminated sulphides and cant pick the penthlandite and pyrrhotite or PGE. It explains the gravity anomaly and the need to use IP and EM as well as mag. Going out on a limb here so happy to be wrong on the mineralisation. I think a positive intersect is very obvious.

    Cheers,
    CC
