I'm just a bit confused by conflicting statements about the same thing that don't give the same conclusion..
I'm a builder not a miner and know we wouldn't design our footings and start digging holes until we had tested the foundations and knew what we could expect to encounter and what we needed to provide for.
Maybe mining isn't an exact enough science to waste time and money proving up probable reserves
before digging to see whats down there. Thats what I was interested in learning about to make sure I don't have a bunch of dough tied up in a cowboy operation.
Even the best of plans in our game can go astray, rough ones usually do.
I don't know if you have seen the cartoon where a guy in a hard hat is peering down into a 10 story deep excavation yelling "stop digging I had the plans upside down"
Its not funny if its your money he's using to dig the hole.
