More likely that the assays have been done and they have chosen not to report them. MBK do not have to report anything until they start reporting a JORC-compliant resource. Even then, it could be argued that arsenic was not modelled in the resource modelling and was therefore not reported.
The water catchment issue may be problematic in the end. It may force a move away from cyanide. There is a new technology out of WA called glycine leaching. Apparently glycine is a simple amino acid and you can actually eat the stuff. So maybe this will be more environmentally acceptable in this location.
