I kinda have some reservations about the CuEq thing also but they are determined to use it. At least its consistent. I think also that the formula is recovered quantity, based on various modelling assumptions so isn't comparible directly to head grade. I'm not suggesting that you are being misleading but it does highlight some of the confusion that abounds.
The head grade reported in the MPS report as 4.5% was for the 1mt native copper component of the feed the other 2/3rds of the feed was lower grade meaning that the average head grade for 3MT was more like 3.1% (from memory). This was for the 1st 5 yrs.
The JORC grade of 1.9%CuEq relates to the entire 30Mt or 10 years production so again I would say that you are kinda comparing apples and oranges especially when you take into account their alleged ability to selectively cherry pick
