tembang is too small for newcrest, why would they want 25% of a 70k ounce producer.
They had the option on tembang purely to see if it kept growing, similar to NCMs gosowong mine, it didn't so ownership will stay with SUM.
Tembang is a significant project for SUM, not so for NCM.
The good thing is SUM can concentrate on Tembang whilst NCM fund exploration at Tandai
