MR. not sure if you're hinting at something... but as I understand it:

The company is currently mining from the Stage2/3 pit... so moving from the 2nd to the 3rd black line/blue line. The stage 4 pit (the red line) will require a further round of pre-strip investment... 2018 looks like an outdated figure, I'll be surprised if we even start mining from that proposed pit by 2018 (plenty of delays and setbacks since that 2006 forecast), especially given that the current pit (stage 3) was supposed to be mined out in 2009 according to the initial "plan".

The north pit deposit has been mapped out to 800m deep, which equates to about -550mRL and open at depth... I think we're at about 200m deep now... so plenty more to come.
