A great guided presentation so far - I hope a few of you are tuned in right now.
This is a sound strategy - and clearly the aim is to position bis as cardioprotective companion treatment up front, then exploring the anti-cancer elements in detail in the later trials. The drug is still marketed as anti-cancer AND cardioprotective.
The data sought will be robust and high quality - and it will open the door (properly) for breakthrough/fast-track designation and BP buyout/licensing discussions. The approach is very cost-effective - in a wildly hostile market for biotech at the moment.
