In the historical study which you quote, the bisantrene dose was firstly 260mg/m2, increasing later to 320mg/m2.
In the upcoming trials, the maximum dose will be much lower, say 50mg/m2, (because that's all that is required for FTO inhibition). So there may be no noticeable adverse side effects at all.
Ethics requires that side effects be tracked.
