Any juniors trying to understand the difference between the 'resource' words. Measured, Indicated and Inferred this is the best illustration I have come across for that in sometime.
You can see below the Measured resource marked within the pink lines has the most dots (eg drill holes).
The Indicated within the orange lines has less dots
And the Inferred Resource within the blue lines has hardly any at all
So basically you can be very confident in the measured resource figure due to all the drill holes, reasonably confident with the indicated resource figure as there is still quite a decent volume to base the estimate from...... and for the Inferred figure, it's shut your eyes and throw your dart at the board.
As more holes are drilled in the 'inferred' and 'indicated' zones of resource those estimate valuations can move up towards the 'measured' category as they have more data to based their estimate from.
