my take. The jump upon the results was not necessarily due to the result alone. The share price jump was actually due to hedge funds or similar trying to bit on the name being included in the index additions and deletions that were announced the other week, this aligns with your broker data generally the larger brokers will be the ones that are prepositioning for potential index moves. This is now not becoming an addition. The share price has subsequently weakened accordingly as the one's prepositioning have now got to unwind.
This is all very normal around index additions and deletions. You can even read the news lately of millennium and others losing money in these strategy's.
