Thought I would share this, I use this data to automate trading ideas, but you can get some good info from the data it spits out too. On the right you can see the last 6 months vs the last 12 months of VAL.



So the last 6 months our average daily colume is 17 million shares a day, and you can see volume has clearly dropped off for the last few months, hardly getting anywhere near the average.

One thing that is worrying though, is sunset capital in the top 20 holders. This is CPS capital , they have 125 million shares, and are still under 5% holding, so dont have to disclose their actions. CPS are responsible for a lot of pump and dumps, see recent ones SRN, ESR, AHN. Same kind of pattern across them as VAL, huge volume in a pump, then sell off and volume diminishes, and the constant variable in all of these is CPS capital holding huge amounts in the top 20.

I would wait till volume starts picking up again before I seriously started entering again.
