Although I don't know anything about radio activity effect on ores, it may not be an indicator of the required. Further it may be hazardous and hence not good for mining. The announcement also does not comment on the impact. Therefore we my be having no real prospect with regards to Uranium, hope I am wrong. I am concerned from the announcement rather than feeling positive
